Your Derby Moment Has Arrived
Some experiences are worth dressing up for.
The hats. The traditions. The long quiet moment before the gate opens, and the roar that follows.
You have watched this weekend from a couch for years. Someone else’s hat. Someone else’s box. Someone else’s photos on Sunday morning.
This time you are in the seat. Covered, all afternoon, with food and a julep in your hand and 14 other women who decided the same thing you did.
Five days in Louisville. Two days at Churchill Downs. These are the stories your grandchildren will tell their grandchildren.
More Than a Seat
The Race Lasts Two Minutes. Your Seat Lasts All Day.
Most people at Churchill Downs spend Derby Day on their feet. They park far out and walk in. They stand in line for a warm drink. They watch the race on a screen with a crowd pressed in around them, and they pay for every bite.
That is not your day.
You are seated in reserved covered seating in the Starting Gate Pavilion, near the action, both Oaks Day and Derby Day. Covered matters in Louisville. Derby runs rain or shine, and the weather that weekend does what it wants. You will be comfortable either way.
From the time gates open at 9:00 AM, the food and the bar are yours. Gourmet service all afternoon. Mint juleps, bourbon, wine, and spirits, poured as long as the racing runs. No lines. No tabs. Nothing to keep up with but your hat.
A motorcoach carries you from the Galt House to the track and brings you back, both days. You arrive dressed and you stay that way.
Two full days at Churchill Downs, seated, covered, and taken care of. This is the part of Derby weekend most people never get to buy.
