Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
Turkey – I loved the itinerary and the relationships formed with other divas.
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
I love to travel and do so whenever I have the opportunity. Not only is it one of my greatest joys but it is my childhood dream come true.
I support Travel Divas. I have historically promoted it, told other black women about it, and posted feedback on any major trips I may take. I feel TDs is a community started by and for us. I think I should be Homecoming Travel Diva 2024, because I support and embody what TDs stands for – black women who unapologetically travel the globe.

What does Travel Divas Mean To You?
To me, Travel Divas are educated strong women who aren’t afraid to live life out loud.
Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
My favorite trip so far was solo traveling to Southeast Asia for three weeks. I am deeply humbled about how happy they live without all the conveniences that we have.
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
I made it my personal mission to live for me and enjoy my life when I turned 50 in December 2023. So far I have solo traveled to nine countries. I am truly letting my little life shine.
What would winning this title mean to you?
I would be HONORED to win this title!! My parents never left Ohio and my dad only had a second-grade education because he was forced to work on a farm. I am my ancestors’ wildest dreams!!

What does Travel Divas Mean To You?
Sisterhood. It means I get to travel with like-minded women while showing the world that Black women are out here too with an interest and love for luxury travel.
Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
My favorite trip was to Tokyo because at the time, it was my furthest trip away from home and I also got to take my 16 year old son and introduce him to a new culture and an interest in travel.
Prior to this, I was very nervous about being so far away from home. It forced me out of my comfort zone and ended up being one of my favorite travel experiences.
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
I think I should be crowned the Homecoming Travel Diva 2024 because I have been seeing the world with the Divas for many years.
I have also introduced younger new Divas to the Travel Divas community. Travel Divas has allowed me to visit 5 out of the 7 continents and at times, forced me out of my comfort zone in a good way.
What would winning this title mean to you?
Winning this title would be incredibly meaningful to me on a personal level. It represents the culmination of hard work, dedication, and perseverance.
More than just a trophy or recognition, it would be a validation of the time, energy, and sacrifices I’ve made to pursue my goal of seeing the world. It would also serve as a source of inspiration, reminding me that with determination and commitment, any challenge can be overcome. Ultimately, winning this title would empower me to continue striving to “see some world” while motivating others to do the same.

What does Travel Divas Mean To You?
Travel Divas is more to me than just sprinkling Black Girl Magic across the globe, it has become more than that.
The more I take trips with this group, engage on social media platforms, or engage in other ways, Travel Divas to me is about sisterhood. I have always wanted to join a sorority and/or have a sister, but since joining this group, I have made so many new connections with divas, I call them my travel sisters. Many of these new connections has formed into friendships that go outside of the group. This group was able to do that for me and I am forever grateful. All of the love and support that comes out of this community has been the best.
Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
This is a difficult one because ALL trips that I have taken so far were good in their own way. My favorite trip has been to Zanzibar.
I never in a million years thought I would make it to Africa, but The Travel Divas made this dream a reality. Not only did I make it to Zanzibar, but was treated like a queen throughout the entire trip. Just everything from the welcome dinner, bonding with my roommate (through roommate matching ), the amazing hostesses that made every single diva feel welcomed and comfortable, and all of the fun activities. But, what made this trip stand out was the sisterhood that I witnessed, it seemed like many of the ladies knew each other for a long time. The way we all looked out for each other, the cries and the laughter is what truly made this trip the best so far.I am a shy person, but with each trip, I make an effort to talk to each person in the group. It was so easy because all the women were warm and welcoming. I could go on and on.
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
I should be crowned because I feel like I represent the brand well.
I mean it’s to the point that people think I work for The Travel Divas. LOL. I constantly talk about this group like it’s one of my children. Since joining this group, so many women have reached out to me to say that I have been an inspiration to them, and this means the world to me. I hope that I continue to inspire women in general.
What would winning this title mean to you?
Listen, I am totally shocked and honored to be nominated. I have never been recognized in anyway shape or form like this before, so I am thankful.
But it would mean a lot to me because I truly love this community and what it has done for me. Being crowned would just be another amazing stepping stone in my life and I would be forever grateful.

What does Travel Divas Mean To You?
Travel Divas has redefined what solo travel means to me. I’ve traveled with some of the most successful, intelligent, and fabulous divas.
I met them as strangers but still keep in contact and continue to travel with several of them. With each trip, not only does my travel knowledge and expertise expand, but so does my TD village. It is wonderful to show my daughters and grandchildren that we belong in any space which we occupy and travel is growth. My family has a sense of comfort knowing that I am no longer traveling solo when going on international adventures! I, too, have a certain level of comfort leaving my itinerary up to TD and they have hit it out the park!!
Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
My first trip – Vacances en Blanc October 2023 set the Travel Diva bar extremely high for me.
EVERYTHING about this trip was pure Black Girl Magic. The attention to detail and the service LeBlanc and the TD hosts provided were beyond anything I could have imagined!My most memorable moment, if I must choose, was the pool party at LeBlanc. To see black women from across the country enjoy a five-star resort, drama-free, was awe-inspiring.As we enjoyed ourselves at the pool, other guests kept asking if we knew each other. They couldn’t believe that the majority of us had never met in person before this trip. That’s when I knew I was a part of something special. It also confirmed I made the right decision to book four other trips for 2024.My favorite experience was very simple yet so meaningful to me…swimming in the Aegean Sea near White Beach, Santorini. I was the only Diva in our group who bravely swam in the cool, clear, deep blue water. It was simply amazing – just me, the water, and God!
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
I have to be one of TDs biggest fans, supporters, and cheerleaders. I’ve been on four TD trips in less than a year. I continue to encourage friends to book.
My High School classmate and I were roomies for a TD trip to Greece in May. I am roomies on my Bali trip next year with a Diva I met on the TD trip to Turks and Caicos!As I go on amazing TD trips and continue to see the world, I like hearing about others’ experiences. I also enjoy sharing my experiences in the hopes that at least one Sister will take a leap of faith and BOOK THAT TRIP with Travel Divas.I’ve often heard horror stories from fellow Divas who have booked with other “upscale” travel groups – from lackluster accommodations to canceled trips to subpar excursions. I have never experienced anything remotely similar to this with Travel Divas. Therefore, I continue to stick by TD’s side and have never booked a group trip with any other company.This type of LOYALTY to the Travel Diva brand deserves recognition!
What would winning this title mean to you?
It’s an honor and privilege to be nominated. I thank you for your consideration. I also thank you for allowing me the opportunity to go on some “bomb” trips!!
Being crowned Homecoming TravelDiva 2024 would mean I exemplify the TD standards and sprinkle Black Girl Magic whenever and wherever I travel with TD. It also means that I have shown Sisters what affordable and proven upscale travel for Black Women is as I’m giving Rich Auntie vibes on EVERY TD trip.TD, in its infinite wisdom, could not have nominated a more appropriate or genuine Sister for Homecoming Travel Diva!

What does Travel Divas Mean To You?
For me, TD is more than just a Travel Agency, it’s a Sisterhood where lifelong friendships are born through our Love for Travel.
I know that with all our trips I will be safe, around like-minded women, entertained and worry-free. I love being a part of such an Amazing group.
Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
All of my trips have been amazing however if I had to pick a favorite it would be Morocco. I was able to experience my first visit to Africa with my sister and we had a ball. Beautiful people, culture, and itinerary.
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
First I would like to say I am honored that someone nominated me for TD Homecoming Queen. I am so excited because I truly love this group and what it stands for.

Winning this would be so amazing and I am so excited to just be in the running. It would truly be an Honor.

Travel Divas creates a space where we not only visit exotic locations but also connect on a deeper level with like-minded women who are just as passionate about seeing the world and embracing new cultures. This community is where we encourage one another to dream bigger, travel further, and live more boldly. It’s an empowering platform that uplifts women and reminds us that the world is ours to explore, unapologetically. Travel Divas has opened my eyes to possibilities that go beyond the trips themselves—it’s about the memories, the bonds we build, and the life-changing experiences that redefine who we are as women.
Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
While I haven’t yet embarked on my first Travel Divas journey, I am beyond excited to experience my first trip in just a few weeks—October 2024!
The anticipation is building as I prepare for Mexico, and soon after, I’ll be headed to Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Australia, and Ghana. I’ve been living vicariously through the amazing stories and pictures shared by other Divas, especially the Dubai trip, which showcases such an incredible fusion of luxury, culture, and adventure. The attention to detail, the unmatched experiences, and the vibrant energy that radiates from every Diva on those trips make it hard to choose a favorite, but I’m certain my upcoming experiences will be unforgettable. These adventures represent more than just travel—they are gateways to personal growth, new friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime.
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
I believe I should be crowned Homecoming Travel Diva 2024 because I represent what it means to fully embrace this incredible community, even before setting foot on my first trip.
My excitement, passion, and commitment to the Travel Divas mission are unmatched. As someone who has actively engaged with the community for two years and has encouraged others to join this empowering sisterhood, I feel I am a walking example of how Travel Divas can ignite a passion for travel and connection. I’ve been dedicated to lifting up other women in this community, spreading positivity, and sharing the joy that comes from knowing we’re all on this transformative journey together. Being crowned would allow me to serve as an ambassador, not just for Travel Divas, but for every woman who dreams of breaking free from the norm and experiencing the world on her own terms.
What would winning this title mean to you?
Winning the title of Homecoming Travel Diva 2024 would be an absolute dream come true.
It would be a personal validation of my love for this community and my dedication to empowering other women through travel. This title would symbolize the beginning of my own journey with Travel Divas, as I prepare to embark on my first trip in just a few weeks, and would allow me to share the excitement and possibilities that come with being a Diva. More than anything, winning would give me the opportunity to inspire other women who, like me, have been watching from the sidelines, to jump in and experience the world in a whole new way. Travel Divas means everything to me. It’s not just a travel company; it’s my tribe, my community.
As a Black woman who loves to travel, finding a group that truly understands and celebrates that experience has been life-changing. Travel Divas brings luxury, sisterhood, and empowerment into every trip. It’s where I’ve found friends, created lifelong memories, and felt supported in ways I never imagined. The sense of belonging, the fun and inspiring events, and the connections I’ve made through this incredible community. Travel Divas has allowed me to explore the world with confidence, knowing I’m surrounded by women who uplift each other.
Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
My favorite trip with Travel Divas was to the South of France, as it was my very first trip. I really felt like the rich auntie on this trip!
It was such a special experience, not only because it was my introduction to the Travel Divas family but also because it exceeded all my expectations for what travel could be. The South of France is stunning, and the itinerary was filled with luxury, culture, and unforgettable moments. From exploring beautiful coastal towns such as Nice, Saint Tropez, and Cannes to indulging in the finest cuisine, every aspect of the trip was curated perfectly.What made it truly memorable was the sisterhood. The Divas I met on that trip and I have formed a bond that is unbreakable. Some of us have even traveled together again or are planning future trips together. I even bought my first Louis Vuitton there in France, which was a special treat and made the experience feel even more luxurious. This trip inspired me so much that I started my own travel Instagram page to share my adventures and experiences with the Travel Divas with others. Being on my first trip, I was nervous, but the Travel Divas community welcomed me with open arms, and I instantly felt connected and supported. The sense of belonging and the incredible bonds I formed on that trip made it the perfect beginning of my journey with Travel Divas, and I’ll always cherish it as the trip that started it all!
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
I believe I should be crowned the Homecoming Travel Diva 2024 because my journey with Travel Divas has been nothing short of extraordinary, and I embody the spirit of what it means to be a true Travel Diva.
From the moment I joined in 2023, I embraced the luxury, sisterhood, and joy that the company offers, and it has transformed how I experience travel. As a Brand Ambassador and VIP member, I have shared my love and passion for Travel Divas with others, encouraging more women to explore the world without fear or hesitation.I’ve fully embraced every aspect of the Travel Divas experience, from themed events to building lifelong friendships through the roommate program. Every trip I’ve taken has left me feeling empowered, connected, and grateful for this amazing community of Black women travelers. Being crowned the Homecoming Travel Diva would be a testament to my deep connection with this incredible sisterhood and my ongoing commitment to spreading the magic of Travel Divas everywhere I go.

Traveling to places you may never have gone to. The staff is professional helpful and thorough. You can put your trust in them to ensure everything is taken care of and just relax and enjoy.
Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
Although I have 4 upcoming trips, I have traveled on one and it was an amazing cruise; the VV Love & Football Cruise.
The host was kind, thoughtful, and caring. The activities were awesome and the people were very friendly. This was my very first ever solo trip and I’m happy I experienced it with Travel Divas.
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
As a newbie to the community, I am humbled to have been nominated and would be honored to wear this crown with the pride I feel being a part of this amazing group…
…as I represent everywhere I go in my various pieces of merchandise. I feel blessed to have found a Travel Group I can be a part of for Life!
What would winning this title mean to you?
Humbled to know someone thought I was worthy enough to be recognized.
I am humbled to have been recognized by this awesome organization and will continue to support and encourage other women to take those once-in-a-lifetime trips and make those life-long friendships. I have learned so many travel tips from this group that I never knew before, and I will continue to pass on my knowledge to others. I am truly honored.

The Travel Divas means so much to me!! I am so proud of the organization and what the company stands for. I am in alignment with the company’s mission and vision. I love the travel opportunities that have been offered.
Which Trip has been your favorite and Why?
My favorite Travel Divas Trip so far was the Amalfi Coast. The Divas showed up and showed out!!
The hotel accommodations in Naples were just beautiful. The daily activities were perfect and allowed me to explore the country. The last night as we took a yacht to our dinner was so awesome! Our Travel Hosts were wonderful. A true sisterhood was experienced.
Why do you think you should be crowned homecoming Travel Diva 2024?
I have demonstrated loyalty to the Travel Divas. I have encouraged other Black and Brown Women to travel with me.
We are known as the California Travel Divas and we bring the party. I have traveled to Paris, Italy and I am scheduled for Dubai and Essence in 2025 with the Travel Divas.
What would winning this title mean to you?
Although each nominee that has been nominated is amazing in their own way, what sets me apart is my dedication and commitment to the company.
Winning the title would mean the world to me. I am very grateful for the nomination and will continue to support the Travel Divas.
