I even convinced my Active Duty roommate who had Delta Gold to upgrade to the Reserve and we ended up convincing her Mom who’s a military spouse to upgrade from the Delta Platinum to the Reserve. We did it bc it made sense to us since Delta was our go to Airlines when we traveled and a lot of our business with hotels and entertainment cross connected. I know for me personally it was a win win situation I traveled a lot cross country, I traveled back home to the Caribbean and I now that I’m out of the military I’m starting to travel internationally, so the annual fee of the Reserve Card was worth it. Now with the upcoming changes come 2025 I’m planning on canceling. 10 SkyClub visits a year is ridiculous especially if I’m traveling internationally with multiple stops at airports with Skyclubs. Also for me to get to the next level I have to spend exponentially even more money in a whole year??? Like come on!! So yeah I understand that I’m a small ant in a huge ass colony but if Delta and Amex don’t do something or make some changes they’re gonna end up losing a lot of card members and customers. Cause if you go on the Delta Reddit it’s already started.
